Our Soccer Program -
Kingdom Sports Center has (2) state of the art soccer fields that are utilized during the soccer sessions. The junior field measures 55 x 100, is equipped with indoor turf as well as an electronic scoreboard. The adult field measures 82 x 85, is regulation size, also equipped with indoor turf and with an electronic scoreboard. Both have areas for team seating and spectator sections. During all league games and tournament games, our concession is up and serving.
Kingdom Sports Center Assistant General Manager, Kathy Sites, is the director over the KSC Soccer Program. Kathy has been with Kingdom Sports Center from the beginning, 2002. Kathy has been involved with other area soccer programs, acting as Secretary as well as Soccer Tournament Director. She has been the major force behind the growth of our soccer program here at KSC.
Our soccer program is open for individual youth registration for placement onto a Kingdom team for our Recreational League and for team soccer league registration for both our Recreational and Select League participation. See below for more information.
Individual Youth Player -
Individual soccer youth boys and girls can sign up and play on a Kingdom Sports Center team. Individual registration is open for youth ages 4 to 13. Our turf-tots are 4-5 year olds (turf tots will play coed), our Passers are 6-7 year olds, Wings 8-9 year olds, Strikers 10-11 year olds, Kickers 12-13 years old. These teams participate in our KSC Recreational League. All games are played a Kingdom Sports Center. Teams are typically coached by volunteer parents. Kingdom does not make practice/training sessions part of the program. Any practice/training would be at the discretion of the coach and dependent upon available field time. Soccer League
Kingdom Sports Center Soccer League program runs congruent Winter and Spring sessions. Each is an (8) game session, 40 minute game time. Winter session typically begins mid-November, while Spring session typically begins mid-January.
Kingdom offers a Recreational and Select League for youth teams as well as adult leagues for men, women, and co-ed. l The Select league is for youth boy and girl teams U9 to HS, as well as a HS Coed. The Recreational League is for youth boy and girl teams 4 years of age to 13, Turf Tots to Kickers. The Adult League is open for social as well as competitive play and has several levels to select from. KSC soccer program follows the age regulation guideline set forth by SAY and OSYSA Soccer. All KSC soccer league games follow the soccer game rules set in place by the Kingdom Sports Center. Present at each game are qualified soccer referees. They are trained professionals who are aware of all KSC rules and regulations of the game. They are here to assure the rules of the game are adhered to. In addition, we expect all players, coaches, referees and spectators to exemplify sportsmanlike behavior while visiting Kingdom Sports Center. Please view our KSC Code of Conduct.
All soccer league game schedules will be posted at the center as well as this website. In addition all coaches will receive game schedules at the beginning of the league session. At the beginning of each session, a completed team team roster must be turned into the KSC office for file. The soccer league standings will be updated on a weekly basis and then posted at the center. NOTE: It is the responsibility of each team coach to assure the end game score is correctly reported on the score-sheet. After each session, final standings will be finalized and awards will be presented to each coach of the winning team for each division.
